Carlotta Malquori

About Me

Carlotta Malquori (*1995) grew up in a musical environment in Rome, and began learning the violin at the age of 5. Her studies brought her to the “Francesco Morlacchi” Conservatorium, under Prof. Patrizio Scarponi, and then later at the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatorium in Rome, under Prof. Marco Domini and Prof. Gualtiero També. There, she graduated her Diploma in 2015 with a perfect grade. On the side, she deepened her passion and knowledge for music through lessons with Stefano Pagliani and Marco Fiorentini, whose various masterclasses she also took part in.

In 2015, Carlotta was accepted into the Erasmus programme at the Robert Schumann Hochschule für Musik in Düsseldorf, where she continued her studies under Noè Inui.

Her high level as a performer has lead her through concerts in many different locations worldwide. While she performs regularly between Italy and Germany, Carlotta toured with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Panama, and in China with the Royal Neaples Orchestra. As a long time member of the Santa Cecilia Academy Youth Orchestra, she had the opportunity to perform in some of the most important concert halls throughout Italy.

Contributing to her extensive chamber music experience, Carlotta performed in Poland with her string quartet, before beginning her studies at the Robert Schumann Hochschule. Since 2013, she has toured annually throughout Greece with many different chamber ensembles. She is a regular member of the Französische Kammerphilharmonie and the Ratingen Sinfonietta, as well as the founding member of Ares Trio, with which she is currently completing a Master in Chamber Music at the Avos Project Academy in Rome, while still living in Düsseldorf.
